Behold! Here It Is! #3

How suddenly things can turn around when God is on your side! In the book of Judges Chapter 6 the word says that the Midianites had the children of Israel in captivity for seven years. Gideon was hiding out from the enemy when an angel appeared to him and told him that He was going to use him to deliver His people from the enemy, God said in v. 16 that all He needed was Gideon. God gave Gideon a plan to surround the enemy at night and startle them by blowing a trumpet and smashing pitchers of lights. They only had 300 men but the fear of God went into the enemy and they killed each other (v. 22). For seven years they were in captivity but suddenly through one man’s obedience they were free! God can do the same for you today. Receive your deliverance and healing today in Jesus Name! In 2 Chronicles Chapter 20, Jehosaphat was surrounded and out numbered but God told him to send out his praise team and suddenly the enemy also started killing each other (v. 22, 23).

In Acts Chapter 2, after Jesus had ascended eight days earlier the Apostles were in one accord in the temple and suddenly the power of God fell and they wee all filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke with tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance (v.2-4). God moved so suddenly in the same place that they had denied Jesus about 52 days earlier! They were now fearless! On the same day that this happened, 3,000 people got saved (v. 41). The next day 5,000 people got saved (4 v. 4) after God suddenly raised up a man who was cripple for 40 years (v. 22).

In Acts Chapter 4 v. 29 the apostles prayed to God about the threatening from the authorities telling them not to preach in the Name of Jesus and God really answered suddenly. In v. 31 the word says that the place where they were at was shaken and they were all refilled with the Holy Ghost. God did tremendous miracles by their hands, so much so that even people who were under the shadow of Peter got healed (v. 15). Multitudes were healed (5 v. 16). They cried out to God for more power and they sure got it!

In Acts Chapter 27, the word talks about Paul being a prisoner on a ship heading for Rome. A great storm rose up but God instructed Paul to ask everyone to stay in the ship and not try to escape in a lifeboat. After a horrifying time, suddenly they made it to land (v.44). It doesn’t matter how long you have been going through the storm you are in, just stay in His presence and His word and you will escape the storm. As a matter of fact after Paul arrived at Rome the word says in Acts 28 v. 30 and 31 that God suddenly blessed him with his own rented place to live. He went from prisoner to having his own place in Rome. This was the fulfilling of what Jesus said to him in Acts 23 v. 11- that he had to bear witness of Jesus at Rome. After all that Paul had to go through i.e. the storm, a snake biting him at Melita, he suddenly found himself in his own rented place witnessing for Jesus. Whatever bumps there are in the road they are worth it as the road leads to where God is sending you. You will suddenly arrive at your destination! Please know that God controls the bumps too! He will never give you anymore than you can take (1 Cor. 10 v. 13)

In I Thessalonians Chapter 4, the word talks about the "Rapture" of the church. No matter what you may be going through, the word says in v. 16 and 17: "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." We all have been going through battles with the enemy and his two-legged helpers and we are all waiting for Jesus to split the sky and come back. Suddenly it will happen and we will say "Behold Here He Is." When He does appear we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is! (I John 3 v. 2)

So, take comfort today and don’t be concerned about the circumstances that you may be facing. Peter said in 1 Peter 1 v. 7: "that the trial of your faith being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ." Jesus will come on the scene in time to rescue you. He did it with the three Hebrew children as they were in the fire and He’ll be there for you! Peter also said in 1 Peter 4 v. 12: " Behold, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy."

Again, Jesus will suddenly move into your situation and rescue you!
