Steps to be Rapture Ready!

Here are some important things to remember about the Rapture of the Church:

1.)    Few will be taken. The rapture is not guaranteed just because you are saved!

2.)    Most Christians will be left behind, even entire congregations. There will be so much anger against pastors who didn’t warn their congregations. They just preached a “feel good” gospel and not a gospel of “repentance.”

3.)    A Queen Esther preparation is necessary. She was prepared for a whole year. She was in a complete dedication, obedience and surrender to God.

4.)    The Rapture will separate those who know God in spirit from those who know Him in tradition and form (Mt. 7:22-23).

5.)    The alternatives of missing the Rapture are not very nice: There will be great distress (Mt. 24:21-22), a time of falling away and the love of many will wax cold (Mt. 24:12), a time of scarcity and want (Rev. 6:13). It will be a time for “every man for himself.” Please read my message on this website entitled “Tribulation Preview” for more information on what the Tribulation will be like.

Here is a prayer that you can say from the heart and it will help you to be rapture ready:

                                                             Salvation Prayer

Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus died for my sins. I turn my flesh over to you so you can mortify the desires of my flesh and make me more like Jesus. (Romans 8 v. 13 and 29.) Come into my spirit and fill me with your Spirit. I surrender all to you. I believe that you are the only One true God. You alone sit on the throne (Revelation 4 v. 2, 3) and you can manifest your self in so many ways- as a healer, deliverer, my Saviour, my peace, my joy, my helper etc.

For Kids:

Heavenly Father, I believe Jesus died for my sins. I give my life to you, I am sorry if I offended you in any way. Come in to my life and make me more like you Jesus, every day. I ask you to watch over me and protect me every day of my life and give me peace no matter what is going on around me. I believe that you are the only one true God, sitting on one throne and have many ways to help me.

With the previous information in mind here are some important steps to help to get ready for the Rapture:

1.)    Enock had a more substantive relationship with God than anybody else and as a result He took him to heaven. The word says that Enock please Him and we must do the same. It is impossible to please Him without faith! We have to walk by faith and not by sight! (2 Cor. 5:7)

2.)    Must confess our sins every day and ask for forgiveness. This really shows humility (1 John 1:9) and that we are serious about Him conforming us into the image of Yahshua.

3.)    Must judge ourselves (1 Cor. 11:31). David judged himself as recorded in Psalm 51. This Psalm is a must read for all Christians. David really opens his heart and shows his worthlessness in his own sight.

4.)    Have a vision of heaven to encourage yourself that the pressure and temptations that you are facing here on earth will end.

5.)    Ask God for help on a daily basis. This shows complete humility and dependence on Him. Paul said in Him he both moves, lives and has his being (Acts 17:28).

6.)     Forgive others, especially if you want God to forgive you.

7.)     Read the bible daily. Cleanse yourself on a daily basis by the washing of the word. I tell people to read the epistles from Romans to Hebrews that Paul wrote and ask God to point out scriptures that you need to speak into your life. After He gives you the scriptures say out loud who the scriptures apply to before you speak them. An example would be: I am saying these scriptures for me, my family and anybody else that should be included and I am going to use the terms we, us or our when I say them. If you see the scripture where it says “the just shall live by faith” you would say we are just and live by faith. You could also say the “no weapon formed against us shall prosper.” When you do this you are allowing the word to cleanse you. We need to allow the Holy Spirit to mortify the deeds of the flesh on a daily basis (Rom. 8:13).

8.)    Begin a fellowship with God. Spend quiet moments with Him away from all distractions. Show Him that He is the most important person in your life. By drawing closer to Him you will develop His holy character.

9.)    Petition prayers, especially for others. Be persistent!

10.) Have fellowship with other Christians. Read my message on my website – “Do I need you?” We do need each other!

11.) Serve Yahweh in the ministry that He has chosen for you with enthusiasm. We should consider it such an honor to serve the God of the universe.

12.) Be friends with certain neighbors. They are close in proximity and could help if a brother or sister is far away, if a need arises. Also, being friendly with them could open a door to minister about Yahshua to them.

13. Watch and pray for His return. Be alert! This will give us an urgency to reach out to others and for us to stay ready.

14. Don’t waste time. Watch less television. Take advantage of the Night Seasons from 6:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. God wants to communicate in a special way and we have to be aware of distractions and plans of the devil to rob our time with Him.

15.) Honor the Sabbath- We can have church any day of the week but the Sabbath is (not was) the fourth commandment of God, written by His finger and can not be done away with or replaced. Friday night at 6:00 P.M. to Saturday night at 6:00 P.M. is a special time where the God of the universe wants to meet with us. This is why the world wants to pay time and a half to get you to come into work on a Saturday. They know that it is a special time that God set up! Satan wants to keep us from this rest in the LORD on the Sabbath. Every week is a time of instruction from Yahveh. He wants to go over what we did wrong and “pat us on the back” for what we did correctly. He wants us to close out the week on Saturday night at 6:00 P.M. and start the next week at that time with prayer. It is important to start the week off at the very beginning and watch how God moves, as a result!

The Sabbath is not a time of bondage but a time of freedom and liberty. We should enjoy our families, enjoy God’s creation and enjoy His presence. Bring all your problems to Him between Friday night at 6:00 P.M. and Saturday at 6:00 P.M. and watch how He can eliminate your problems and give you a brand new beginning by Monday morning or earlier. In Isaiah 58:13 the word says that we should not do our own pleasure on the Sabbath, but do the Lord’s pleasure. We should treat it as His birthday and ask Him what we should do. It is a time to not do what we would normally would do i.e. check e-mails, search the internet and watch secular programs on TV. The Sabbath is a time to get cleansed and refreshed in the presence of Yahweh and be strengthened to go into the next week with power. We need this time to get stronger in Him to remain “Rapture Ready.”
